FIELD: electromechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: system for closing slots of electrical machine sheet-steel stator filled with conducting rods or coils by means of end locks has top prismatic body whose upper side has inclined surface and bottom prismatic body. Upper surface facing top body is inclined relative to lower inclined surface of top body in opposite direction; wedging proper is made by relative displacement of both prismatic bodies. For optimal utilization of top body crosswise elasticity, force from conducting bar or coil is imparted to top prismatic body over entire length primarily at middle section. This affords greater elastic shrinkage in radial direction which, in its turn, may compensate for shrinkage in winding.
