PURPOSE: To improve sliding property of a reel plate against a reel holder and to protect the coating of a reel gear, etc., of the holder by constituting the surface roughness of a contact point of the reel plate with the reel holder to be a specificμm or smaller. CONSTITUTION: The reel plate 15 formed into a round shape by a metal plate such as stainless steel plate, is provided with the radius R1 of e.g. 16.8mm and the thickness T of 0.46mm. For this reel plate 15, a protruding part 152 subjected to light drawing integrally in the center upper part is made to have a large diameter such as the radius R3 >=10mm, and the rigidity of the whole plate 15 against the load in the direction of the arrow (c) is high. Consequently, by the plate 15, the movement amount of the reel 11 in the direction of the arrow (d) is suppressed to be smaller, even though the impact is exerted in the direction of the arrow (c) due to the dropping accident, etc., during the transportation of a video cassette 1 and the impact load in the direction of the arrow (d) is exerted on a pair of left/right tape reels 11. As the result, the inconvenience such as damaging of the reel gears, on the outer circumference of lower flanges 31 of a pair of left/right reels 11, is prevented.
