A GPS wristwatch 1 has a satellite signal reception unit 10A that receives satellite signals, a power supply including a solar panel 70 and storage battery 60, a time information adjustment unit 25 that keeps time, a reception timing determination unlit 24 that operates the satellite signal reception unit 10A, receives a satellite signal, and acquires leap second information contained in the satellite signal, and a reception determination unit 23 that detects the remaining capacity of the storage battery 60.
