PURPOSE: To provide a developing device for use in an image forming device of an electrophotographic system, which controls toner flow in a device case after toner is added into the device case, thereby sufficiently electrifying the toner and preventing deterioration of a recorded image resulting from insufficient toner-electrification. CONSTITUTION: The device is equipped with the device case 1, with a toner introduction opening in it, which stores toner introduced in it, a stirring body 5 which stirs the toner stored in the device case 1, a supply roller 8 which receives and carries the toner stirred by the stirring body 5, a developing roller 6 which holds the toner carried from the supply roller 8, a developing blade 10 which frictionally electrifies the toner in contact with the developing roller 6, and a toner flow control member 14, provided between the stirring body 5 and supply roller 8, which receives the toner, introduced into the device case 1, immediately before it reaches the supply roller 8, thereby controlling the flow of the toner to the supply roller 8. |
