<p>PURPOSE: To provide a liquid crystal display device formed to enable the execution of exact alignment by assuring the contrast of an alignment mark on a counter substrate side subjected to a low reflection treatment and the alignment mark on a TFT substrate side and a process for producing the device. CONSTITUTION: The low-reflection alignment mark 11 of a cruciform shape shown in (b) is formed at a low-reflection color filter 10 of (a) and the alignment mark 101 of a cruciform shape holding the prescribed spacing shown in (c) is formed on the TFT substrate 100. The aligmnent marks are synthesized as shown in (d) and the alignment is executed by evenly adjusting the spacing B generated between both alignment marks. Since the contrast of the respective alignment marks on the counter substrate side and the TFT substrate side is sufficiently assured, the exact alignment is executed.</p> |
