PURPOSE: To provide a thermal cell having the capability of both effectively preventing the occurrence of an internal shortcircuit due to the deformation of the stacked body of an electromotive section even under exposure to strong acceleration in a direction for compressing the section, and giving a high acceleration resistant characteristic by arranging a plurality of output lead materials electrically connected to an element cell at the end of the body on the external surface thereof. CONSTITUTION: This thermal cell is provided with an output lead material electrically connected to an element cell at the end of the stacked body 1 of an electromotive section 1, and used for introducing the power of the body 1 to the outside of the cell. Also, the output lead material for connection to one polarity is provided in a plural form and led out to the external surface of the body 1 approximately at equal intervals. Also, an output lead material 11 for connection to the other polarity is provided in a plural form, whenever required, and similarly led out to the external surface of the body 1 approximately at equal intervals. |
