In a closed box (C) the frontal opening usually occupied by a loudspeaker is superseded by a smaller aperture (E) whose dimensions are determined by the ratio of the parameter of the associated loudspeaker (H) to the load volume (V) of the box.The loudspeaker is placed symmetrically in front of the aperture so as to cover and conceal its rim (P). The front face of the loudspeaker is directed towards the aperture, and its rear face carrying the driving magnet (F) is visible and emits the acoustic signal.
