<p>PURPOSE: To provide a torque sensor in which the number of components is small, whose assembly property is good and which is low-cost. CONSTITUTION: A transmission torque is detected on the basis of outputs of detection coils 33, 34 which are held by one pair of coil holders 31, 32 built in a housing 2 and which generate a magnetic flux. A spacer 51 which is arranged between both coil holders 31, 32 can be deformed elastically to the axial direction.
