<p>Heat transfer between a body located above ground and a surrounding gaseous environment is reduced by placing at least one baffle-insulator adjacent to the body, such that the baffle-insulator which has a thermal conductivity of less than about 5 watts/meter- DEG K, disturbs, modifies, and/or wakens flow of the gaseous environment about the body, thus reducing heat transfer between the body and the gaseous environment.</p> |
