The modular car system comprises an independent chassis (1) and car body cellular module (2), interconnected by a mobile fastening mechanism, and a combined strand (3) contg. a cable, hose and linkage. Thus the two base modules are mutually slidable both in longitudinal and vertical sense.Pref. a slide carriage (4) moves on a slide and guide rail (8), mounted on the longitudinal axis of the chassis. On the slide carriage are located two telescopic support arms for the car body module on two torsion rods (7) such that the car body module can be longitudinally and vertically displaced.
