To obtain a heat-resistant and anti-corrosive multilayer-plated steel material with uniformity of high-efficiency processability and anticorrosiveness, a Ni-layer is plated over the surface of the base steel material eg. plates, pipes, joints, clamps, bolts, nuts to a thickness of 0.2 - 10 mu m, a first Zn/Ni alloy layer is plated eg. by electroplating over the Ni layer to a thickness of 1 - 15 mu m by using an acid bath such as a chloride bath or a sulphuric acid bath with the Ni-content thereof being in the range of 2 - 20% and a second Zn/Ni alloy layer is plated eg. by electroplating over the first Zn/Ni alloy layer to a thickness of 1 - 10 mu m by using an alkaline bath with the Ni-content thereof being in the range of 2 - 20%
