<p>PURPOSE: To use a cushioning material to ease the impact on the waist of a user should a golf bag bounce during driving by attaching the cushioning material to the side part of a side pocket that is formed on one or both sides of the golf bag. CONSTITUTION: A golf bag main body has side pockets 20 formed from the upper to lower ends of both sides of a shell member, and a hanging pocket 32 is formed inside the storage portion 22 of each side pocket 20. A cushioning material 36 is enclosed in the hanging pocket 32 in such a way as to be freely taken out from openings 28, 34, and comprises a cushioning plate 38 formed of trapezoidal urethane and covered at its periphery with a cover 40 formed of a stiff cloth. When the user carries the golf bag main body on his shoulder with a shoulder band, the position where the hanging pocket 32 is formed roughly corresponds to the waist of the user.</p> |
