PURPOSE: To provide a solar cell roof tile which is excellent in durability and low at cost and easy to be constructed by fixing the solar cell roof tile with an offset portion of a cement tile substrate while supporting the solar cell roof tile on a frame. CONSTITUTION: A recessed part is formed on an offset part 31 of a cement tile substrate 3 while a solar cell 1 supported on a frame 4 is buried in the recessed part of the offset part 31 and fixedly bonded therewith, thereby connecting a wire 5 from the solar cell 1 to a draw out load from the side of the frame 4. Then, the dimension of the recessed part is arranged to be larger than that of the cell 1 so as to protect the cement tile substrate from being cracked and a sheet glass installed on the surface of the cell 1 from being damaged and to prevent their bonding from being separated and then a bonding caulking 2 is filled up so as to bury the clearance. This fixing structure makes it possible to enhance the durability of the solar cell roof tile to a greater extent, and to provide a low cost as a cement roof tile and eliminate the need for a rack which is hitherto required for a solar cell panel, for example, and install stably the cell 1 on a roof. |
