摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester molded article improved in impact resistance and appearance and suitably used for a travel bag or the like for carrying esp. a heavy item by a method wherein a specific resin sheet having a specific range of thickness, high-speed impact strength, thickness dependence, and temperature-increase crystallizing temperature is molded to have a thickness within a predetermined range. CONSTITUTION: A polyester sheet made of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid content and a glycol content with a thickness t1 of 0.50-20mm, a high-speed impact strength of 500N or more, a thickness dependence of 1000N/mm or more, and a temperature-increase crystallizing temperature TCC of 110-200 deg.C is vacuum formed or pressure formed to have a thickness t2 of 0.10-10mm and t1 /t2 of 1.5-10. Alternatively, a sheet made of a polyester with a content of ethylene terephthalate unit of 75% or more, a limiting viscosity of 0.5-1.2dl/g, a content of ring trimer of 1.0wt.% or less, a terminal carboxyl concentration of 30 equivalent/ton or less, and a glass transition temperature Tg and a temperature- increase crystallizing temperature TCC respectively ranging 50-100 deg.C and 110-200 deg.C after melting and quenching may be molded to have a thickness t2 of 0.10-10mm.</p>
