The spot welding for a plate-shaped weldment having plural points to be welded, including the steps of supplying a plate-shaped weldment to be oppositely disposed as to another with four corners by a weldment supply means; applying a proper pressure to each weld zone of the weldment; pressing the weldment without change of the position and deformation of the weldment for welding at the exact welding point and connecting separate transformer to inner electrodes for welding.
