PURPOSE: To improve picture quality and to easily adjust a position of an outputted image by performing adjustment matching a frequency correction characteristics of an image clock with a real scan speed characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A start signal from a start sensor 6 is supplied to an FT counter 14, an LM counter 15, an up/down counter 13 and an address generation circuit 19. These FT counter 14 and LM counter 15 start respectively counts of an fθcorrection characteristics adjustment time and a print start position adjustment time at the supply timing of the start signal. Then, when the FT counter 14 ends the count of the fθcorrection characteristics adjustment time, an fθcorrection start signal is supplied to the up/down counter 13 and an image clock counter 16. When the image clock counter 16 is supplied with the fθcorrection start signal from the FT counter 14, it starts operation stepwise changing a frequency division ratio of a basic clock at the timing. That is, it starts fθcorrection. |
