PURPOSE: To obtain a resin-bonded magnet which is excellent in moldability, magnetic properties, and mechanical strength by a method wherein resin-bonded magnet composition composed of resin-coated magnetic powder where the surface of magnetic powder specified in anisotropic magnetic field is coated with thermosetting resin and thermoplastic resin is used. CONSTITUTION: Resin-coated magnetic powder is such that the surface of magnetic powder of anisotropic magnetic field above 50kOe is coated with thermosetting resin. Polyamide resin, polyethylene resin, polystyrene resin, or polypropylene resin, alone or as a combination of two or more of the resins are used as thermosetting resin. 4 to 50 parts by weight of thermosetting resin are compound with 100 parts by weight of resin-coated magnetic powder. Furthermore, coupling agent, plastic molding lubricant, various kinds of stabilizing agent and the like are compounded if necessary. |
