The roasting plate is produced by (A) crushing the heat resistant clay coarsely to remain 20-60% residues when passing through 325 mesh sieve, (B) molding the crushed clay into the plate with 0.7 cm thickness, (C) first firing the molded plate at 500-800 deg.C and drying, (D) coating the first fired plate with glaze, and (D) secondary firing the glazed plate at 1,100-1,300 deg.C to form micro-spaces and many porosities on it. The surface of the obtained roasting plate is smooth to prevent food from attaching, so it can be washed easily without detergent.
