<p>PURPOSE: To provide a fixed shaft shape gauge permitting the use of a small and inexpensive converter by pressing the bearing inner ring of a fixed shaft to a block having horizontal and vertical flexible members bent only in one degree of freedom. CONSTITUTION: For each measuring region, a bent block 12 including flexible elements 20 and 21 is attached to a shaft 11 by a screw 19. A bearing inner ring 13 is attached to the bent block 12, pin-fixed by a pin 14 and the rotation of the inner ring 13 is prevented. A pre-load is applied to the inner ring 13 by a spring 30 provided in the pocket 31 of the shaft 11 and contact is surely made between the inner ring 13 and the bent block 12. The outer surface 32 of the bent block 12 is machined in a radius in which its center is O, the axis of the inner ring 13 is zero and a holder 17, an outer ring 15 and a cover 18 are all rotated around the center O.</p> |
