A method of transmitting orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) signals in radio networks involves reducing (2) the dynamic response of the OFDM signals (Sr), prior to input into the transmitter amplifier (3), by multiplication with a response reduction function (d). The response reduction function (d) is selected to assume values of less than unity, in the ranges in which the value of the complex envelope of the OFDM signal (Sr) exceeds a given threshold value, and of higher values up to unity, between such ranges. |
