Conveyor for small cylindrical hollow objects treated in oven

The parts are carried on a shelf (5) which transports them in a circumferential direction. The conveyor consists of several concentric, circular, shelves (5) within a cylindrical shell (6) each with windows (9), arranged in a staggered formation, through which the articles drop onto a lower shelf. Alternatively articles are discharged through a window in the shell (6). Movement is by radial vanes (4) where either the vanes of the shelves are driven about a central axis (2). Articles lie on a mat, fixed to the vanes, to provide a soft landing, which drops into the window like a trapdoor and is drawn onto the shelf floor again after discharge of the article.
