YEAST FIXING ALUMINA CARRIER, AND THE FIXING METHOD

The porous carrier is made of alumina, inorganic coupler, organic coupler and a material forming pores, and made by forming cylinderical pellet and forming projections on the surface of the carrier. The size of the carrier is below 2mm. The alumina carrier is made by : (a) adding 25-35 wt% material forming pores and 3-7 wt% organic coupler to the mixture of 90-97 wt% alumina powder and 2-9 wt% inorganic coupler; (b) forming cylinderical pellet of 0.5-2mm in diameter under the pressure of 30kg/cm2; (c) sintering at 1500-1600 deg.C for 30 min.-3hrs.
