PURPOSE: To improve the theft preventing performance by hindering the normal operation of a vehicle when key check is failed in the case where abnormality of an engine control device is detected. CONSTITUTION: This device is applied to a throttle open degree control device having an immobilizer C/U 1, ECCS 4 and a throttle control device 12, and a CPU 121 inside of the throttle control device 12 detects whether the ECCS 4 is out of order or not. When a fault of the ECCS 4 is detected, next, the detection whether key check by the immobilizer C/U 1 succeeded or not is performed. In the case where the ECCS 4 is out of order and the key check is failed, the accel open degree-target throttle open degree characteristic map is switched to the map of the time of fault. Continuously, the target throttle open degree corresponding to the real accel open degree is selected among the maps of the abnormal time. In the case where the ECCS 4 is out of order and the key check is failed, throttle open degree for hindering the normal operation is set so as to improve the theft preventing performance. |
