PURPOSE: To prevent any intake of more or less in hydraulic pressure to the side of wheel cylinder to be produced by its transfer lag. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic sensor is installed in the outlet of a linear valve for controlling the extent of hydraulic braking torque. A variation in hydraulic pressure is operated (20), referring to a map selected according to temperature in an oil passage. The hydraulic pressure in a valve outlet at a point of time when wheel cylinder pressure is reached to its unavailable one is estimated (122 and 124). A valve outlet pressure criterion secured by this estimation is campared with the detected outlet pressure, and in the case where the detected value becomes more than the criterion, it is so considered that hydraulic pressure equivalent to the unavailable pressure is induced into a wheel cylinder (126). Any transfer lag in the hydraulic pressure to be produced by viscous resistance in the oil passage ranging from a hydraulic detected spot to the wheel cylinder depends on the operating speed of a brake pedal, and since this operating speed of the brake pedal is detectable by a hydraulic variation, any intake of more or less in the hydraulic pressure to the wheel cylinder with the hydraulic transfer speed is thus preventable from occurring. |
