PURPOSE: To obtain a cell tray excellent in the properties for pulling out seedlings and forming their root pots, and useful for culturing the seedlings of vegetables, horticultural crops, etc., by arranging many cells for raising the seedlings in parallel, forming holes for air ventilation and lighting on the upper surface of a plate connecting the cells to each other, and further forming water-draining holes at the side lower parts of the cells, respectively. CONSTITUTION: In this cell tray A, many cells for raising seedlings are formed in parallel, and holes 10 for air ventilation and lighting and holes 8 for water drain are formed on the upper surface of a plate connecting the cells to each other and at the side lower parts of the cells, respectively. The cell tray is preferably produced by molding a synthetic resin sheet, e.g. a (300±10)cm×(60±10)cm square sheet, so as to form 50-300 cells each having a volume of 8-100ml.
