FIELD: methods for production and purification of vegetable oils applicable in oil-and-fat industry. SUBSTANCE: hydrated oils are treated with inorganic acids with subsequent neutralization and quantitative separation of colored products of destruction of chlorophyll with sodium soaps. In so doing, inorganic acid is used in form of sulfuric acid, and treatment of oil is carried out at temperature from 20 to 60 C. EFFECT: higher quality of purification and preservation of biologically valuable carotinoids.
