PURPOSE: To provide a biosensor in which a protein is firmly fixed to a base plate, and the protein is hardly denaturated by fixing the protein which is a sensor molecule and an organic thin film onto the base plate, and fixing the sensor molecule to a hole in the organic thin film. CONSTITUTION: Since a protein 1 is present in the hole of an organic thin film 4, it is firmly fixed. No chemical modification of the protein 1 is required, and therefore, the protein 1 is never denaturated. Further, since the film is Si-O bonded to a base plate 3, the peeling of the film from the base plate 3 and the peeling of the protein 1 according to it are never caused. Since the protein 1 has a plus or minus ion in solution, an electrode is used as the base plate 3, the organic thin film 4 having a pinhole is fixed to the electrode surface, and a fixed voltage is applied while dipping it in the protein solution. Thus, the protein molecule is attracted by the electrode, and fixed in the pinhole within the film. |
