PACKET REPEATING METHOD AND INTER-NETWORK EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: To provide a method and a device for efficiently repeating a packet by quickly disusing a packet for storing an invalid value and exclusively executing the repeating processing for only a packet storing a valid value. CONSTITUTION: Packets 5 are counted by fields to be inspected which are instructed by a packet repeating means 11, and when the number of times of count within unit time exceeds a previously determined upper limit value, to a repeating program changing means 19 the field and comparing value of a packet 5 exceeding the upper limit value are reported by a counting means 16. The means 19 instructs the means 11 to change the inspection order of the field of the packet reported from the means 16 and the setting of a comparing value.
