PURPOSE: To provide a camera capable of accurately recording the photographing position information of a camera together with necessary photographing information with a photographed image in an easy-to-view state. CONSTITUTION: This camera is provided with a GPS receiver 2 outputting the photographing position information of the camera 1 and constituted so that the positional information at the time of photographing can be recorded with the image, and it is also provided with a gyro 3 for measuring moving distance and direction, and the positional information from the GPS receiver 2 is corrected based on the information from the gyro 3 and recorded as the photographing position information.
