<p>PURPOSE: To recover a high purity copper with a simple treatment by incorporating copper-containing waste material into a two-step jig, raising the temp. step by step, recovering vaporized component, successively, recovering molten copper and removing the stuck component. CONSTITUTION: The copper-containing waste material is carried into a space part 3 of the two-step jig 2. The space part 3 is closed and evacuated, and organic material in the waste material is vaporized by preheating with a heating means 4 and collected with a condenser 6 and a gas absorber 7 and discharged. The temp. of the space part 3 is further raised to vaporize and recover Zn, and the heating is succeeded to vaporize and recover Pb, etc. Further, the temp. is raised to about 1200 deg.C to recover the copper as dripped molten material. After making granular material by cooling this copper drip, the granule is pulverized to detach carbon, etc., stuck to the copper surface. Successively, the carbon penetrated on the copper grain surface is removed by sending to a grinding process to improve the purity of the copper grain.</p> |
