The plate heat exchanger of plastics or metal is produced by folding of a material strip (1) to a packet along transversal fold edges (5). Each plate (2) in the packet has ridges (4) formed so that channels (3) are produced for the heat-exchanging media. - At each end of the folding edges (5) is an additional inward fold (6) so that the corners of the plate packet are bevelled. The channel-forming ridges tend towards the bevelling. |
