A tube type mat for erosion prevention is provided to prevent a mat from floating and to prevent erosion and breaking of a construction plane by filling up tube bodies with filter materials and supporting itself with the weight of the filter materials, and an erosion prevention method using a tube type mat is provided to prevent a mat from floating or a filter layer from breaking, or the erosion of filter materials by the speed of a current. A tube type mat(1) for erosion prevention comprises an adhesive sheet(10) adhered closely to a construction plane, and many tube bodies(20) filled with filter materials such as soil, sand, aggregate or stone and placed on the top of the adhesive sheet to support a filter layer against high pressure added on inland waters, wherein a drainage net(22) is formed to the center of the tube body in the longitudinal direction, fabric portions(21,21') are installed around the drainage net to form a tube by connecting the drainage net and the adhesive sheet, an injection port is formed on the upper part of the drainage net to supply filter materials to the inside together with water, and a cover is formed by sewing one end to one end of the drainage net together with the fabric portion and putting the other end on the drainage net to be fixed to the other end of the fabric portion of the drainage net. An erosion prevention method using a tube type mat for preventing erosion effectively comprises the steps of forming rubble mounds by paving rubbles on the bottom to the appointed height, forming a filter layer by paving filter materials on the side of the rubble mounds, installing a tube type mat by fixing one end of an adhesive sheet of a tube type mat equipped with many tube bodies to the surface of the filter layer abutting on inland waters, injecting filter materials together with water to the inside of the tube body through an injection port and covering a drainage net with a cover, and then binding up the injection port, and forming a banking layer by filling up the inland waters with dredged soil. |
