PURPOSE: To increase the response speed by intermittently receiving corresponding to whether a radio telephone set is mounted on a charging platform or not. CONSTITUTION: While waiting for reception, radio telephone sets 103-1 to 3 intermittently receive when they are not mounted on the charging platform and a control part 201 turns off the power sources of a voice processing part 203, a voice input and output part 204, a radio part 202 and a carrier detection part 205 and sets a carrier detection off timer. When a timer is time-up, the power sources of the radio part 202 and the detection part 205 are turned on and a reception frequency is set to set the carrier detection timer to measure a carrier. When the carrier is detected, the control part 201 turns on the power sources of the processing part 203 and the input and output part 204 to move to reception processing. When the telephone set is put on the charging platform in intermittent reception processing, the control part 201 moves to charging platform reception processing, turns off the power sources of the processing part 203 and the input and output part 204, turns on the power sources of the radio part 205 and the detection part 205 to set the reception frequency, detects the carrier and moves to reception processing. |
