PURPOSE: To automatically suppress peak power effectively without being hardly accompanied with real damage or sacrifices by lowering the current value to lighting loads preferentially, when the power of all loads approaches a basic contract power, and performing control so as to not to cause the power of all the loads to exceed the basic contract power. CONSTITUTION: When the power consumption of all loads increases gradually and exceeds 95% of a basic contract power, an ampere meter 8 generates an output signal. This signal is inputted to all lighting current controller 9, and each lighting current controller 9 reduces the value of an output current a little, and all load power is reduced to less than 95%. If any output signals are not generated for a specified time (for five minutes, for example) each current controller 9 increases the output current little by little automatically up to its original state by setting. Consequently, it becomes possible to suppress peak power automatically and save the power charge, almost without real damage or sacrifices. |
