PURPOSE: To easily connect capillaries to be freely detached without shutting-off the flow of fluids and without affecting the result of analysis by attaching a plurality of legs constituting a glass insert in the wall of a main body, inserting the capillaries into the end part thereof and pressing and tightly sealing the same by a press ring. CONSTITUTION: A glass insert composed of a plurality of hollow legs 19a connected to a center part is positioned in the inner space of a main body 17, and the end part of each leg 19a is fitted in the inner bore 33d of the screw support 33 of a screw connector 32. For connecting a capillary 13 to the leg 19a, the end part of the capillary 13 is inserted into a tapered inner bore 21a formed in the end of the leg 19a, a pressing ring 29 is pressed to the stop shoulder 27 of the end of the leg 19a and the inner surface 25a of an outer bore 25 by an adjusting screw 25 engaged with the connector 32, the capillary 13 is pressed by the inner surface of the ring 29 and the capillary 13 and the tip part of the leg 19a are tightly sealed. |
