PURPOSE: To accurately position a work and to improve the preciseness of printing and the like when a screen printing operation is conducted. CONSTITUTION: A metal plate 10 and an elastic material are formed in one body, and they are used as a work retaining device. A hole 12, which is larger than the work, is formed on the metal plate 10, and a hole smaller than the work is formed on the elastic material 14. The hole of the metal plate 10 and the hole of the elastic material 10 are formed in such a manner that they are in parallel with each other, the work is supported by the elastic material, and a positioning operation is conduted using the metal plate 10. A number of works can be easily treated simultaneously if a plurality of holes are arranged at the prescribed intervals. |
