<p>The present invention is directed to a DNA encoding a thermostable, full-length, Thermus flavus DNA polymerase I of approximately 94,000 daltons, and to methods for producing and purifying a recombinant polypeptide encoded by the DNA. The recombinant peptide is useful in DNA sequencing, Thermal Cycle Labeling, Polymerase Chain Reaction, and other molecular biological applications.</p> |
