B(R)2SiO-Ä(R)2SiOÜr-ÄR(A)SiOÜs-(R)2SiB (I); A-Si(R')3 (III), in which R (same or different) = 1-10 C alkyl, phenyl or 3,3,3-trifluoropropyl, provided that at least 80% of the gps. R = Me; B (same or different) = a gp. as for R, or a radical A; R' (same or different) = 1-8 C alkyl or phenyl; r = a whole number 0-50; s = a whole number 0-20 with the proviso that if s = 0 then at least one of the symbols B is a radical A, u = a whole number 1-6, t is a whole number 0-10 and t+u is greater than or equal to 3; A = a monovalent radical of formula (IV) bound directly to a Si atom in which n = 0, 1, 2 or 3. X (same or different) = 1-8 C alkyl, halogen or 1-4 C alkoxy, m = 0 or 1, Y = -O-, -NH-, -COO-, -O(CH2)v-COO- or -(CH2)w-OCONH- in which v and w = whole numbers 0-12, p = 0 or 1, q = whole number 1-12, Z = -O- or -NH-, R<1> = H or 1-4 C alkyl and R<2> = H or Me.</p> |
