PURPOSE: To obtain refractory having corrosion resistance to glass having a high CaO content showing severe erosion like flying of ash occurring in incinerated ash or incineration and improved spalling resistance. CONSTITUTION: This ZrO2 -based molten cast refractory is obtained by enveloping a block prepared by molding a ZrO2 -based molten cast refractory and/or its lump or ground material with a binder such as water glass in a ZrO2 -based molten material.
