PURPOSE: To check the inventory consistency of a host system and plural slave systems without stopping the operation of the respective slave systems by an inventory management device consisting of the host system and plural slave systems. CONSTITUTION: When the host system 1 instructs to start inventory equalization, the slave systems 2 output inventory data to the host system 1, to which the inventor data are inputted to be stores. When a slave system 2 outputs report data regarding receipt or delivery of goods after the inventory equalization is started, the data are inputted and stored. After the input of the inventory data from the slave systems 2 is completed, the inventory data and report data are compared with each other and when there is report data reflected in the inventory data, the report data is deleted. After this processing, the inventory data are outputted to the host system 1 and then report data are outputted to the host system 1 in the order of processing. |
