PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a printing device without a previous liquid developing process, and to make it possible to eliminate the exposed area or non-exposed area from a photosensitive layer by adding a hydrophilic protecting layer onto the photosensitive composition. SOLUTION: A photosensitive article, which can form a non-treatment printing form, is described, and at least one surface thereof includes the base material having the photosensitive composition, which is hydrophilic or hydrophobic in comparison with the non-exposed composition at the time of printing, and a non-photosensitive hydrophilic protecting layer always exists on this photosensitive composition. The hydrophilic photosensitive protecting layer is left on the surface of a photosensitive layer after the exposure, and eliminated by the work of the ink reservoir liquid, ink and/or a printing device at the time of arranging a printing form, which is formed with an image, in the printing device. In this case, the protecting layer has a contact angle with water smaller than the contact angle of photo-active layer with water. |
