In a windscreen wiper system, a pivotable wiper arm consists of a first, pivoted wiper arm section (4) and a second telescopically movable section. At the free end there is a rotatable wiper blade movable transversely substantially over the whole of the vehicle windscreen. The second wiper arm section is moved via a Bowden cable (15) guided via a drive component (11) fitted in the first section (4) and having two cable guides (13) each fitted in a rising spiral. |
