The snow board has an interchangeable tip (8), made of moulded plastic material, fixed to its front or back end (1). The back end of the tip has a groove (9) in which a tongue (6), projecting forwards from the end of the board, engages. The two parts are fixed together by a screw (11). The groove is between two branches on the tip which have holes (10) through them that are aligned with a hole through the tongue. The screw is screwed into a threaded steel insert (12) in one hole.
