The system operates the flasher lights at a predetermined frequency on activation. A transmitter device (17) is activated with the indicator system (1), and receiver (12) outputs signals to an indicator display and speaker (11,14). The transmitter and receiver operate in the HF band, and have an effective range of 200m. The blinker frequency is generated by function block (15), and drive circuit blocks (32,33) output signals to the indicator lamps.
