Multi-ply insulating laminate comprises >=2 plastics laminae with >=1 Al-foil and/or paper web interposed as core lamina. The paper is water-repellant or treated, esp. impregnated, against absorption of humidity. The impregnant is a plastics-compatible paraffin, wax, bitumen or the like.
