Supervisory equipment for locking sections between adjacent objects

The supervisory equipment uses an electronic code carrier (1) fitted to one of the two surfaces to be locked, with a reader for the code being fitted to the other surface. The code carrier is a long, thin plastic sheet strip (2), with numerous flat, electrically parallel coils (3) arranged as strip conductors in a thin conducting layer on the front and/or back surface of the strip. The strip is hermetically sealed, is provided with preset mechanical breaking points, and has an adhesive layer on at least one side. The code reader comprises an inductive detector head with at least one field coil and a number of detector coils, the arrangement of which corresponds to that of the coils on the code carrier.
