Improvements to pitch control devices for hingeless rotors

The mechanism consists of pitch control levers (38,39) fixed to the leading and trailing edges of a blade sleeve (37) and pivoted at their ends to intermediate arms (40,41) which have their other ends connected to a return lever (42). The mechanism incorporates a cross-piece (58) for each blade, situated between the two intermediate arms (40,41) and pivoted to them by its ends. The centre of each cross-piece is connected to a shock absorber (65) which can turn on a fixed point (67) on the rotor mast (31). The shock absorber is connected to the cross-piece and fixed mast point by an articulated joint (63,66) at each end.
