<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the volatile component resulting from the toner production process by supplying a liq. during kneading. CONSTITUTION: At least a resin and a colorant are mixed, kneaded, crushed and classified to produce an electrostatic charge image developing toner. In this case, a liq. is supplied during the kneading. Namely, a liq., especially an inert liq. exhibiting volatility in a continuous extruder, is supplied into the extruder. A liq. thermally stable during the kneading can be used, and industrial water, distilled water, etc., are exemplified. Meanwhile, the liq. is appropriately added to the molten layer wherein the kneaded material is melted in the extruder, and the liq. is supplied behind a first kneading part when the kneaded material is transformed from solid to melt in the first kneading part.</p> |
