Building member consists of a hollow brick (2) with cavity (4) open on at least one side in which the belt box (3) of a belt winding disc is anchored. At the end face (14) of the brick remote from the cavity, the cavity is sealed by a thermal insulating material, pref. polystyrene, and the belt box is anchored in the cavity by mortar, pref. by plaster mortar adhesive. The space between the belt box and the surrounding box is filled with cast rigid polyurethane foam.
