A prepared pit is provided with a sandy aggregate or sand filter layer and drain, covered by a thick layer of clay. Next a layer of sand or sandy aggregate filter and drain covered by a second layer of clay. A further layer of sand or sandy aggregate filter and drain are laid before the dangerous waste is deposited. The waste deposit is ventilated using an aggregate filled shaft. A main collector drain is used to reduce the level of ground-water in the vicinity. The main collector collects the water leakage, while the main collector collects water from the waste deposit. - The waste deposit is sealed by a layer of earth. External water is collected by a ditch and the whole area is fenced.
